Abortion through the baby’s eyes

Example of a once pro-choice advocate changing their perspective:
“There is an article written about an anonymous medical, pro-choice student who was given the opportunity to sit in and observe an abortion. They talk about how they sat through numerous procedures, and so they assumed this one would not be any different from the others since they were all medical procedures. The type of abortion procedure they watched is called an aspiration abortion. This is the most common abortion method used in the first twelve weeks of the pregnancy. Obos Abortion Contributors stated, “In 2010, about 72% of all first trimester abortions were aspiration abortions.” The student goes on to describe what the doctor does in this abortion procedure. The student said, “The cervix was held open with a crude metal instrument and a large transparent tube was stuck inside of the woman. Within a matter of seconds, the machine’s motor was engaged and blood, tissue, and tiny organs were pulled out of their environment into a filter. A minute later, the vacuum choked to a halt. The tube was removed, and stuck to the end was a small body and a head attached haphazardly to it, what was formed of the neck snapped.” (Sarah Terzo) This medical student was horrified. This was the reason they changed from being pro-choice to pro-life. They explain how this was not just a pile of cells being killed, it was a developing human. Sarah Terzo quoted the student, “The ribs had formed with a thin skin covering them, the eyes had formed, and the inner organs had begun to function. The tiny heart of the fetus, obviously a little boy, had just stopped — forever.” I believe if we are able to fully educate people about what an abortion really is then, like this student, their position will change.”
